Shot list - By Connor, James and David

Company logo to begin
*Fade in shot 1*
Shot 1: Caption 1 – “In a time of economic crisis”
White, block capital font slowly zooming in to appear as if the text is coming towards the viewer.

*Dissolve*
Shot 2: *shows economic crisis*

*Shot 2 fades out, then shot 3 fades in*
Shot 3: Caption 2 – “An innocent man…”
Similar to caption 1, the white, block capital font slowly zooming in as if the text is coming towards the viewer.

*Dissolve*
Shot 4: Secluded office setting. Main protagonist finds package on desk. Package is identifiable as government property through a watermark.
Camera facing doorway at head level as protagonist walks through doorway. As protagonist walks towards chair to sit down, camera pans around to follow him.

Shot 5: As he sits down the camera changes shot to an over-the-shoulder shot showing the package.

*Shot 5 fades out, then shot 6 fades in*
Shot 6: Caption 3 – “And a corrupt government”
Similar to caption 1 & 2 with white, block capital font zooming in towards the screen.

*Dissolve*
Shot 7: Shot of two men exchanging money in a concealed manner. Set in car park.
Camera is at a long distance initially, as if the audience is spying on them.

Shot 8: Then a match-on-action cut to an extreme close-up of the money exchanging hands.

*Shot 8 fades out, then shot 9 fades in*
Shot 9: Caption 4 – “Will collide”
See caption 1, 2, & 3 for description of shot.

*Cut to shot 10*
Shot 10: Close up of journalist opening package to reveal contents. The camera cuts just before the viewer can see the contents of package, adding an enigma.
*Cut to shot 11*
Shot 11: Over-the-shoulder shot of journalist, not showing the package. Then a bang on the door from the henchmen makes the journalist turn around in a shocked manner.
*Cut to shot 12 (action sequence begins)*
Shot 12: Medium shot behind two government henchmen banging on the protagonist’s door. One standing behind the other wielding a gun, pointing towards the door.

*Cut to shot 13*
Shot 13: Henchmen burst through door, and then they see the window open. The window will be in the centre of the shot to emphasise its significance, and the henchmen will be to the side of the shot.

*Cut to shot 14*
Shot 14: Chase scene in empty street. Camera is stationary at floor level, as the journalist runs past the camera will cut to the next shot.

*Cut to shot 15*
Shot 15: After the camera cuts from shot 14, the camera moves to a long shot which quickly pans to follow the chase sequence.

*Cut to shot 16*
Shot 16: Journalist in secure area, on phone to an unknown person. Asking for help.

*Cut to shot 17*
Shot 17: Government official telling henchman he "wants his head on a platter". Over the shoulder shot from henchman's perspective.

*Flash to shot 18*
Shot 18: Same chase sequence as shot 14 and 15. Henchmen catch up to journalist, henchmen attempt to drag the journalist to the ground.

*Cut to shot 19 as henchmen try to grapple journalist*
Shot 19: Shot of journalist breaking free of grasp from floor and fleeing from the henchmen.

*Cut to black. Shot 20*
Shot 20: Starts as a black screen, with dialogue of journalist saying about the loss of his normal life, and the fight to get it back.

*Fade in to shot 21*
Shot 21: Journalist is hiding behind a corner as the henchmen are walking away from him. Just as the viewers and jounralist relax, a hand comes into the shot and grabs the journalist by the mouth. This shot is looking past the journalist, whilst keeping a close up on his face. This is so we cannot see behind the journalist.

*Cut to black*

Shot 22: Caption 5: *Film title* appearing in the same style of the previous captions to add continuity.
